Ridder ditcher with extra small ditch Publication date: 23-04-2009 Press release Ridder ditcher with extra small ditch In 1957 Ridder manufacturers in Ridderkerk introduced the first ditcher. Since then it is impossible to imagine the Dutch agricultural world without this machine. Originally the use of this machine was meant for use in grassland only, in the last few years it is finding its way into the crop sector as well. For the crop sector Schouten Machines B.V. "current manufacturer" developed the model TK25 in mitre edition so that when used with a tractor with a rut width of 1.50 meters the ditch in the rear right tractor wheel rut was made. The TK25 is now also deliverable with the FW0 wheel. This wheel has a ground width of 0 cm and whereby the top width is also much smaller. Especially in the crop sector one obtains a good water run off ditch that has enough slope so that it does not immediatly cave in but, is so small that one is able to drive across it easily with a tractor and spraying system. The Ridder ditchers spread the cut out ground in a even manner over an ample spreading breadth so that in one work run a good water run off is created. |
