Schouten IDEAL PW 120 pump wagon for slurry drag hose system Publication date: 15-07-2009 Press release Schouten IDEAL PW 120 pump wagon for slurry drag hose system. As was already mentioned in our press release from June 2007 Schouten Machines is fully engaged in the renewal of its whole IDEAL tanker series. We do this in an orderly manner which means that the construction series which are renewed follow each other. Now it was the turn for the pump wagon for the slurry drag hose system. The PW 120 has all the components of the building box system as has been used for all the other already renewed IDEAL tankers. But on top of that this unique pump wagon has 2 more exclusive possibilities which the field receives with excessive interest. A. Suction are with extra joints and at the end of the suction arm the well known Turbomaster turbo pump model 10.8 that is placed over the edge of the slurry pit. Of course the suctino arm can also be placed directly into the pit opening when the opening is big enough. Because there are now no more suction losses the capacity has increased inmensly. Besides, now one doesn't have to carry any heavy difficult to handle 8" hoses and that means considerable work comfort. B. Radio graphical controls; when lifting the slurry injector on the head field a radio signal is sent to the tractor cab. The main valve on the injector closes and the radio signal ensures that in the pumpwagon a valve is switched so that the slurry is pumped back into the tanker. Because the hose is now closed on both sides pressure remains and this ensures that the hose does not twist or that couplings become loose when turning. Now the head field is not made dirty anymore and can be fertilized seperately. A second advantage of this is that the pump wagon controller does not have to continually stay at the pump wagon and that he can spend part of his available time rolling out hoses and cleaning up. |
