The Tornado compressor unit is driven by the PTO on the front of the tractor with the 1000 RPM PTO shaft. The Tornado can be used to blow the hoses empty from a drag hose installation. But, it is also usable where mobile compressed air is necessary. Examples are the use of a demolition hammer drive and air cleaning diverse machinery.
Screw compressor element
The core of the Tornado is formed by the screw element. Due to the continual proces of the compressor the Tornado has a inmense continual capacity with a barely no service requiring system.
Separator housing
The screw housing sucks air and oil in through the rotation of both screws and compresses these through the separator housing. In the housing a separator is mounted that seperates oil and air from each other. The oil is cooled during the process and reused.
Oil cooler
The large oil cooler, which is mechanically driven by the screw, prevents overheating of the oil and ensures that the process is continued. Besides this a filter is mounted to clean the oil.
Monitoring and security
On the Tornado a temperature and pressure meter is mounted for monitoring. Besides this the compressore is secured by means of a temperature sensore which unloads the compressor when overheated.
Storage compartments
The Tornado is standardly equipped with 2 storage compartments to take along, for example, the hose, couplings or other necessities.
Maintenance friendly
The Tornado is extremely maintenance friendly. Due to the completely raisable hood, but, also the further accessibility. For the oil level an indicator is mounted and the air filter has a sensor which shows when the filter needs to be cleaned.
