Centrifugal pump for pumping thin slurry

Centrifugal pump

The AFI centrifugal pumps are specially developed for pumping thin slurry. Long strands are no problem for these pumps. The distinguish themselves by a simple but, very solid constuction. The AFI pumps have a tungsten mechanical seal which prevents a quick wear of the packing. Besides this the pump has a better return and decreases the suction time. The AFI pumps can give a very high pressure wherefore they are very suitable for pumping slurry in a drag hose system.


Vacuum pump

The PW 120 is equipped with a hydraulically driven 8000 L vacuum pump. The hydromotor is equipped with a flexible maintenance free coupling. By means of the vacuum pump the slurry or the water compartment can be filled.


Turbo-master 10-8

The Turbo-master increases the capacity of the drag hose system noticably. Because there are no more suctino losses anymore, the continuity of pumping is much larger. Besides this due to the special internal design of the pump housing and impellers straw an pit waste are beaten apart and pluggings are reduced to a minimum.


Suction arm

The PW 120 can be equipped with a hydraulically operated eigh inch suction arm which is mounted on the right, rear side of the pump wagon. The suction arm is also equipped with the Turbo-master 10-8 with an extra swivel point. The Turbo-master is constructed in such a way that it can also be placed in the slurry to thus get a maximum possible capacity.


Water coupling points

The pump wagon is equipped with Danfoss butterfly valves for the water supply. These are very stable and dependable and besides this easy to operate. The butterfly valves ensure that the slurry is diluted or the water compartment is filled. By means of a Magflo flowmeter the water quantity is registered. On a large display all the values are easily read. A dependable solution for the water supply controls.


Storage options

Optionally the pump wagon can be equipped with 2 rain water proof lockable trailer chests. Size is 1000 x 500 x 470 mm. In here couplings, gloves, tools etc. can be taken along easily.
