Rotary mowers

The universal rotary mowers from Schouten are very useful for clearing fields and mowing and mulching of old grasses, play grounds, road verges, campings and festival terrains. Mowing after every grazing a quicker regrowth, better tasting grasses and a higher nutritional value is achieved.


Strong galvanised frame

The frame of the Uni mower is made from a preformed plate construction. The construction is made sturdier with crossbars whereby a strong resilient frame is realized. The frame is galvanised thermally for an excellent rust resistance.


Mulched short

The mowing rotors are placed in such a way that the mowing strips of each knife overlap each other. Hereby no unmowed strokes remain. The Combiknives are reversible and are attached by means of a breast bolt and breach bolt. By using contra knives and grass guides the mowed grass is mulched properly and spread evenly.


Robust drive

The perpendicular gearbox is mounted on a special console with an extra bearing on the bottom side. Hereby wrong strain on the gearbox is not possible. The outside rotors are equipped with bearing houses with adjustable cone bearings and special sealants. An anti wrapping bus is mounted on the bottom side. The bearing houses are adjustable wherewith the V-belt tension can be adjusted.


Continuously adjustable

The 100mm wide drag feet are mounted on the outside of the machine with spindles and a locking bolt. The height is easy to adjust with these spindles and a proper size designation shows the correct height for adjustment.
